Mammals
A bobcat flicks his short, white-tipped tail that gave the species its name.
A raccoon strolls though my backyard looking for some worms to eat.
An overhead view of a mountain lion as he prowls through his territory in cottonwood canyon.
One of the biggest bears in Cooks Canyon saunters over fallen logs. He is nicknamed 7-claw because of his right paw.
The little bobcat shown above crouches after his descent down the log, still fascinated by the camera.
A black bear cub struggles over the log before following his mother upstream.
The Grey Fox is the only type of fox that can climb trees. Here in Cooks Canyon, logs can create a fun playground for this couple.
